Our Approach
Start with the business need, develop a clear product requirement and keep important differences visible as options are reviewed.

The next step should be understandable
A sourcing process
you can follow.
A useful process gives the conversation enough structure to move forward without pretending every enquiry starts with the same information.
You may have a complete specification, an existing part number, a photograph or an early list. We begin with that starting point and identify what needs to be established.
Each stage should make the next decision clearer: understand the application, put the specification together, review possible products and confirm the order-specific details.
Our part. Your information. A clearer outcome.
The stages of a
useful sourcing conversation.
01 / Understand the need
Share what the product is for and whether the request concerns a replacement, project item or recurring requirement. We use that context to identify relevant questions. The useful outcome is a shared account of the need, including any critical constraints.
02 / Clarify the specification
Bring together references, drawings, dimensions, materials, ratings, interfaces, quantities and requested documents. We identify missing or conflicting information. The useful outcome is a clearer product description with unresolved points explicitly marked.
03 / Review possible products
Consider the information available for a requested item or proposed alternative. Relevant differences should be explained for the buyer’s review. Technical suitability and required approvals must be established for the intended application.
04 / Confirm the next step
Before an order proceeds, confirm the selected specification and applicable commercial conditions. Price, availability, documentation, lead time and delivery arrangements belong to the actual enquiry. The next action should be understood by the people involved.
A flexible starting point
You can begin with
the information you have.
A precise reference.
Include the manufacturer or product reference where available, together with quantity, destination and any application-specific conditions.
A drawing or sample.
Identify the current revision and the details that define the required item. Photographs and samples can support a discussion but may not establish every technical requirement.
A list with open points.
Keep each item separately identifiable. Mark unknown specifications and priorities so questions can be connected to the correct line.
Useful process questions
Questions belong
inside the process.
Can a possible alternative be considered?
Identify what can change and what must remain fixed. Any proposed differences need a clear basis for review before the buyer decides.
Does this process guarantee supply or delivery?
No. Product availability, pricing and delivery arrangements must be confirmed for the individual enquiry. A clear process helps organize those discussions.
What if a requirement changes?
Make the revised detail and affected line items explicit. The specification and any previous discussion should be reviewed against the current requirement.
Start the conversation
A useful next step starts with your requirement.
Bring the part reference, drawing or product list you have. Mark the details that still need to be clarified.
